Day 1: Leadership Training

We spent the morning and afternoon preparing for the remainder of the Soar participants to arrive. Four groups came in today from Oregon (Oregon is pronounced Or-uh-gun by the Americans and Or-uh-gone by the Canadians. We are having a couple disagreements on how certain words are pronounced:)), Utah, California, and Canada. We are officially ready to begin the week now that everyone is here.

I would say that I, as the photographer, get the best end of the deal on this trip. I am blessed to be able to go to each ministry site to document what is happening and hear stories from all over the city. So each post will hopefully give you a glimpse into what is happening at each site.

We have enjoyed a lot of time in worship and prayer today as well as getting to know one another. Here are a few photos...

This is Stacy Kuhns. She is currently serving in Guadalajara on the MBMSI Jornada program.

This is Sandra Plett. She is an MBMSI long-term missionary in Guadalajara.

The woman in pink is Jen Schmidt. She is also a long-term MBMSI missionary serving in Guadalajara.
RETO is the name of the church where many of us are serving. A sports camp for kids will be held here next week

Buenos noches!
