Day 4 & 5

Sorry I couldn't post yesterday but here is a recap of what happened with the San Isidro and Campo Real teams in the past two days..

I spent Monday with the San Isidro team and they really had an awesome day. They put on a kids camp complete with paper machete and fun songs. There were about 25 kids in attendance and they totally loved every second of the club time. Then we had a delicious meal with some of the people from the Casa de Paz church. After lunch, some of the team practiced the songs that they would perform at the outdoor evangelism concert. The concert went really well and once the band started playing, people started to trickle in to see what the deal was with all the "gringos".

Today, I spent some time with the Campo Real team who is offering English lessons near their host homes. About 9 kids showed up today and even more come out of their houses when the team started up a game of soccer. We had lunch and then headed downtown to do some shopping and touristy things.

That is about all I can update for now. The days are long so it's time to get to bed. I'll try to post some more pictures tomorrow!
Thank you you for your continuous prayer support!

Day 3: Sunday Church Service in San Isidro

Today was our final day of orientation and training. Everyone has moved into their host homes and tomorrow will be our first day at the ministry sites.
This morning, I was able to go to a church called Casa de Paz in San Isidro with the open-air evangelism team. One of their big projects for the week is hosting a concert on Monday night that will be held near the church.
Here are a couple pictures from the church service today...

I will be joining a different ministry team each day to document their day. Tomorrow, I will be joining the San Isidro team for their concert. So from now on, each blog entry will be an update from a specific ministry team. I'm excited to get the chance to see what is happening at all the different sites! Please continue to pray for each of the teams. Thank you for your support and prayer.

P.S. Weston and Faythe would like to make a shout-out to their mothers!
